The state of AAA being what it is, even at $60 most releases felt overpriced. And you typically had to spend around $90-130 for the super duper deluxe ultimate version if you wanted the full experience. So I can only imagine that increasing the price of base game to $70 or $80 - like Konami did with MGS Delta - doesn't sit very well with most people, especially in today's economy.

This data is slightly skewed considering how massive CSGO is and how many people daily play it. It's the face of PC FPS I'd argue.

Other than that the global economy isn't great and they raised PC prices. Not surprised recent titles have a bigger majority.
