You are now able to get refunds on Steam "for and reason", provided you have not played the game for over two hours.

I read about this today too! Though this article imo was easily the best. However I haven't seen any info on it being effective immediately?

I also liked this part:

We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.

Honestly I think that is great for them to do that. This is a step in the right direction.

Games like X Rebirth which was a complete failure at start, 200 hour test is NOT enough.

Just requested a refund for a game that did not run well and I got it refunded via PayPal immediatly. No questions asked. Great service, valve!

I wish I could go back through my purchase history and refund the games in hindsight i shouldn't have bought.
