Installed rivatuner to monitor the temps more than anything....(cards are fast enough thanks!!)....under max load the gfx cards temps stay under 50 degrees....you may recall a previous post in a thread I created when I got my first GTX.....if I remember rightly it was in the 80s....

The mad thing is...temp variation between idle and load is about 2-3 degrees on the GTXs and 3-5 (depending on how much I've clocked the CPU) on the E6600....

I am sooo chuffed!!

Looks nice too....have moved the cathodes further away from the window to get a more subtle glow from that fluid XP EXT!!

Stand by your beds lads....

I want to have a fiddle.....so to speak....with my rig....

Have been eyeing up the HR series chipset coolers from Thermalright....question is:

1. Which version for the Northy?

2. Is it worth whacking one on the Southbridge?

3. If anser to 3 is 'yes' which version would you fit?

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance...

Ok All,

Courtesy of Pas at Aqua PCs I'm planning a small tweak to my rig. I am gonna banish the elbow joint on the lower of the 2 GTXs and I'm gonna fit one of these http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/male-14-to-14-connector-1052-p.asp and one of these http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/14-bsp-delrin-l-block-945-p.asp so I'll be able to bin that minging blue elbow joint!!!!!

Also installing a Q6600 G0 SLACR....

Oh.....how much better the D-tek fusion at cooling quad core cpus than a Swiftech Storm???

Any other suggestions for mods whilst my system's cooling loops os drained down?

Processor should be installed next week. Should be fun installing my D-tek fuzion and filling up with some black coolant. May also install some subtle non UV lighting...white LEDs may do the trick...subtly lighting the interior....

Anyone know of aany white LEDs which would fit the bill?

Can you post some new pics with the black coolant with some full body shots aswell? :)

Ooooh full body shots guv...??

Would be a pleasure....I'll get some uploaded asap.:wavey:

Thanks guys...

It's taken a while to get there but I'm now happy with the final look. I may add some very subtle lighting but the major componentry and cooling kit in the rig is pretty much sorted. As soon as we get some better weather (and my Canon 400D arrives....) I'll get more pics....

Thanks again peeps :)
