Stealth-Li

well what i do, is remove all the junk that swiftech gives you and just use the screws and backplate. i slowly tighten each screw little by little going in a circle. i have tightened it so tight that the mobo bends but, thats when i release a lil. (and for me that works the best and iv seen better temps, which is why i kept doing it)

Aye....;)

Had some trouble fitting the cpu water block....one of the holes on the plate (silver section of the block) was a tad small...so required some gentle encouragement to slide the block down the scres which act as mounting pillars. All sorted.

NOTE to other STORM owners -- how tight should I have the nuts which keeps pressure on the springs which push the block down onto the CPU?

Be careful if overtightening the end caps to compress the springs. The caps are prone to stripping their thread. Just tighten them down untill they feel firm.

Well guys...water is in and no leaks to report....

System idling at 26 degrees....

Here are some pics:

only option mate was to use the elbow....not ideal i know...still well happy tho.

Beautiful job:worship: ,

but why didnt you exit the water from the top of the bottom GPU instead of using the elbow?

I tried that mark..

Was unable to get the bend on the pipe from the top of the lower GPU....

Still...am happy enough considering it's the first time i've dabbled in water cooling.

Looking very sweet mate, I think you probably should have sprayed the elbow. It does stick out a bit.

Still very cool though, well done!

Thanks mate....been a long time in the planning and buying....bought my DDC Ultra back in August 06!! Am gonna tidy the cables up this weekend and also install 2 12" cathodes on the back of the side/windowed panel....

Will get some nice piccies up for you when I am done...

Here's a taster:
