Starfield problems - Intel's ARC GPUs are struggling to play Bethesda's newest RPG

My neighbour is playing just fine on his A770, he booked the day of work especially. He's doing 60ish fps 1440p.
@WYP, would be nice to have more context in your articles............

Also Guru3D states the following

  • Failure to launch the game.
  • Extended loading times resulting in irregular texture displays.
  • Consumption of up to 30 GB of system memory when the executable runs in the background, often observed within a thirty-minute window of activity in the Task Manager.
Following this extensive memory usage, systems either experience a crash or proceed to the game menu. However, the game's stability remains inconsistent, often crashing to the desktop within a short duration of gameplay.

From what I can see there is no point trying to play this on Nvidia, until they release a new driver. The 7600 is 30% faster than the 4060......

And that continues across the board. So it seems Nvidia did not contact Bethesda or they did and Bethesda ignored them.

On AMD though? it runs very well even at launch.
