KeSPA has today announced that StarCraft ProLeague, the world's first and longest-running eSports League, is closing down.

Interesting thing was after reading the news here I looked up the whole match fixing debacle in Korea. These guys were being paid £25,000 or around 35,00000KWD to lose one map in a match yet they then went on to win the match.

I can see why sponsorship became tough. The korean fixing scandal pretty much destroyed all credibility in the proleague.
