No different to BF3/BF4 on PC so far as I know? They use the platform voice on the consoles.

It's a cop-out, but they don't care.

Edit: To be fair, Frostbite's netcode has trouble enough with players, tagging voice into that would only make it worse :P
And yet, Siege had near-pefect in-game voice (no lag at all)

I use another program to talk with people that are not currently playing the same game as myself. Games such as League of Legends that don't have voice support (for obvious reasons, coughcoughmosttoxiccommunityevercough), when playing with friends, the voice chatting is actually useful, solo queuing, well I'd rather not hear other people whine and bitch anyway.

I don't like star wars to begin with, but a game like this should have voice chat. I bet it was full of bugs, so they just removed it.

I've been using Skype since I can remember tbh. In game chat apps were crap, never sensing when you spoke and generally being inferior to Skype. We just do a conference call and we're off :)

I don't use Skype, Skype can't be trusted there are back doors built into Skype for the NSA.

I would rather use TeamSpeak over Skype any day.

TBH dude I have nothing to hide so I don't have any paranoia about getting caught doing something I shouldn't.

I like Skype. Yesterday I spoke to a guy I lived with a few years ago but hadn't spoken to in over a year. Was nice to catch up :)

Typical EA practice tbh ship 1/2 a game for 60bucks that dosent work then ask 50bucks for the rest of it at a later date and this is why i no longer buy EA games only you guys can make them stop this bs by refusing to buy/pre order unfinished work

Heyyo,

Meh, no one uses in-game voice chat anyways... Same goes in games like World of Tanks. I've rarely heard anyone ever use ingame. I only like chatting in Mumble or Teamspeak anyways with a few friends. Too much toxic behavior with most pubbers anyways.

i have my own teamspeak server running have done for ages now.
I mostly have private game servers so the members also have free access to team speak. it works out better in reality.
the members also get given the ability to make and use other rooms so they can happily go play a different game and still use team speak..

A couple of people have now started talking about razer coms, but having read through the privacy agreement, seems they will sell your email address on with the most rediculous terms that go something along the lines of. "we are not affiliated with the people we sell this on too but we have good faith they will use it properly"
Soo il be sticking to team speak.
i have a old server from years ago when it was free. and the new clients can still connect to it.
No registration needed so i dont see why it would need to be changed.

i do think games in general should have a voice chat option. But for the most part the front end you chose a game from "steam" has a steam voice chat thing any way. integration in to a in game menu is not dificult.
unfortunately for team speak the integration for that would be done via overwolf which i do not like at all. "but at-least you don't have to register that either"
having an in game chat is fine and all. but if you already have a ts server like i do and you game with friends you never use the in game chat any way.
