SSD Help Please...

I'm buying an SSD but im not sure if it will work with my MB. I will be buying this ssd just for my os (windows 7) and 1.5 tb for my storage.

and i just want to know if you guys think it will work ok and what these terms mean

-AHCI AND TRIM

how can i tell if my mb will support this?

You will be fine mate.AHCI is mode like IDE,you have to set this in the BIOS when installing OS on SSD.TRIM is build in in Windows 7 so no worries.

IMO 60 or 64 is much better.After a while 30GB will be not enough after installing couple of programs.U have to keep eye on it and keep SSD very clean if you know what I mean.

If u can afford go for 60 GB mate.

I have now 24 GB free of 60 mate and only windows and couple of programs installed, some screen shots in my pictures,that's it.

For just windows7 def YES !

i just checked what i am using including a lot of programs, just about 25gig.....

Also used (tested) these with Win7 and programs from 30gig SSD's to 128Gig...
