This is my proposed build when Ivy Bridge is released in the spring.

All prices are in Canadian.

CPU: Intel Core i5 3750K 3.4GHz (Ivy Bridge) - Price TBD (Most likely around $225.00 - $250.00 range)

MOBO: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 - $150.00

GPU: Asus Radeon HD 6850 1GB (Already have)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 - $44.00

HDD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda (Already have)

ODD: Samsung 22X DVD-RW - $17.00

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX600 V2 600W - $70.00

CPU HSF: Corsair Hydro Series H60 - $70.00

Case: BitFenix Shinobi Black Mid-Tower - $70.00 (which I plan on modding)

Extras: Assortment of BitFenix Alchemy Sleeved cable Extension (Orange)- $60

Total: $706.00 - $731.00

I plan on overclocking this, because I can't leave anything stock. With the Corsair H60 I plan on replacing the stock fan and doing a push/pull configuration. I am still deciding on the fans for the case. I think I will pick up a few 120mm BitFenix Spectre Orange LED fans.

Thoughts, comments and opinions are welcome.

Might think about getting a smaller SSD for your boot drive and keep your most used programs on it and store the data on your HDD, can improve your proformace quite a large amount

@ JerryH: How is this build going? Have you started it yet?

Looks good. Only things I could possibly suggest are upping the cooling to an H100 if you can get it in the case and consider a gpu upgrade depending on if you are happy with the performance:D

An SSD would also be nice as said above.
