Speeding the old pc up

My uncle has an absolute terrible pc and is going to be getting rid soon. Just wondering is there a program to save me disabling all the settings etc. slowing it down. Such as a program that disables all unnecessary services, all visual effects, removes useless files and generally adds a speedboost. I know I could do this myself, but I'm lazy and don't have much time to do it

Registry Mechanic and Ewido perform a few useful cleanups, also defrag the HDD + do a disc cleanup........ then overclock it

defrag(altho preferably reformat)

turn off visual effects

adjust page file size

maybe stick an extra stick of ram in

OVERCLOCK!!!

There was a little proggy knocking about called "Game Accelerator" I think. That did a good job on my PIII rig so I could play Far Cry before I got my AMD jobbie. Here ya go http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4062.html
