Spec Me A Mouse, Razer Mice Feel Too Cheap

Looking for a mouse that is hardy, What I mean by this is that I have the Razer Ouroboros and while I really like it the rough texturing came away after only a few weeks, The side buttons are silver and the edges of them have worn away to reveal black plastic, The mouse wheel squeaks, Overall it just feels cheap.

And the most annoying thing about all this is, I haven't used it much and it looks like a pro gamer has used it.

So I'm looking for a replacement that is very well built, Reliable, Looks good and doesn't have annoying things such as textured surfaces that wear away after a few weeks.

Any info is appreciated

im using a corsair m95 and it feels great iv not had it long enough to say if the coating will last (i hope it does) but feels solid and quality.

i previously had 2 razer mice both had the cheap feeling you mention i also had a rocat kone which i rather like tho the buttons wore out with in 2 years which left me feeling rather disapointed

I'm using the Corsair M65 and can't fault it. I am using it on the massive overclockers uk mouse mat and its smooth and very accurate in games like BF4 and other shooters. I have been using this mouse since xmas still no signs of any wear. I use it everyday.

i have the logitech g700 and while i think its the perfect shape and weight. as with every logitech device i have ever owned it has worked perfectly for 12-18 months then it starts to fail. which is where my mouse is at the minute. if forgets the dpi profiles every other day and its annoying as flip. so id say stay away from logitech stuff unless you are ok with replacing it regularly.

Very happy Logitech G500 user here for nearly 4 years now. It has took 4000 hours of TF2, 1500 hours of Killing Floor and many other games. It still works like it did on day 1. I know they've updated their line but definitely something from their range would be what I'd go for. I don't even use a mousemat with it. Would like to try a Corsair product at some point as they seem well received.

all hail the steelseries rival! but that one has rubber grips on the side. if you don't want that, then get a sensei raw. the rubber coating doesn't really wear off.
what is happening here? is your trust in razer vanishing?

Thing about logitech is that their support is golden. :p

Well, at least up north. :D

I needed a new mouse recently too, and despite everyone recomending me a Rival(which probably would have been the better fit for my hand), I actually bought a M65 as it just looked too good to pass up

No regrets yet, I love the look and feel of it, feels like it will last longer than me :)
Only downside is that I've had to adjust to a claw grip, but it's not too bad :)
