SoundStorm 2: SoundStorm Strikes Back?

By now, most of us have heard that NVIDIA will be bringing back integrated graphics into their upcoming AMD C51 Chipset, which is expected to launch within a few weeks, but is NVIDIA's SoundStorm Technology ready for a glorious return? Or will NVIDIA be entering into the arena an entirely new audio technology? We'll share some thoughts and tentative possibilities here in this article.

Interesting, there have been so many rumours about soundstorm over the years that im always sceptical, but would be nice to see it come back.

It should be, The Nfoece 3 should have had Soundstorm 2 IMO.

I agree, it was great in its time - as good as the leading audigy card in regard of framerates in games and it ws 5.1 too.

Lets hope if it does that SS2 lives up to being a true successor of it's predecessor.
