Hi guys

My daugther laptop just death because the HDD die. When I turn it on just have a sound like "tik tak tak..." inside the HDD and it didn't boot. Any change can I boot from another device like cd or ext HDD... but I couldn't get in to BIOS. Thanks for your help.

sometimes there are defined key you can press to select what you boot from. On acers i think its F11. Does it say anything at boot up. press tab to show the text.
