Wow and I thought these images with the V-Style were VERY OBVIOUSLY fake:huh:But that style makes sense because 5 = V and I haven't thought about that until now. Looks kinda cool with this in mind.

As I always say..... When the rumours start flying at least one will turn out to be true. It's always like that.

To be fair those leaks were directly from patents and confirmed by multiple industry sources, however the 3D renders before were interpretations of those patents by third parties. But yeah it's a pretty smart way of increasing surface area for cooling intake while still allowing stacking, good for a devkit but obviously fugly.

To me it looks terrible. Maybe different if all black but silver is a big no from me.

I agree it needs to be all black. I can see why they used the silver (to pronounce the V more) but yeah it would look much more menacing in black.

It's like this just for the dev kit, It's quite common in dev offices for them to stack several dev kits on top of each other, The large recessed cut out allows stacking without choking off air intake, I worked as a games tester 1 summer holiday around the time the PS2 was out, It was quite common to see PS2 dev kits stacked.

That thing reminds me of the old Tube style amps.
Lets hope they have something better looking for the release model, I've seen VHS players that look more modern than that thing!

come to the point where i dont really care what it looks like, as long as it dose not sound like a freaking space shuttle on take off when and it it dose not crash giving blue screens in the middle of games



be happy if its got decent power a decent fan and a way to easily open and clean it
