Hey Guys,

I have a Sony Vaio VPCF136FM-B 16.4" Laptop.

Here are the specs:

Intel i7 740QM

6 GB 1033 MHz DDR3 RAM

640 GB 5400RPM HDD

NVIDIA GT425M @ Core 560 MHZ default @ Shader 1120 MHZ default

I am a heavy Flight Simulator X so I want to overclock my graphics card. I need to squeeze more out of my card to get a better FSX experience.

Its idle temperature is 45C.

I did a couple of tests with overclocking and tested the overclock with FurMark.

Here are the results.

Running the Benchmark Test with 1600x900, MSAA:8x at default clock speeds

In the Stability test the temp got up to 75C and it was almost stabilized at 75. If I had let the test go on for a little more time, it would stabilize at areound 76-77 C. My question is, would you recommend me to overclock it, or are the temps too high? What frequencies would you recommend me?

PS. I am thinking about buying a Cooler Master U2 laptop cooler in near future.

Thank you
