Some Suggestions :)

Hey guys, I've been meaning to bring this up but haven't gotten around to it.

I'd just like to suggest two minor things..

• Increasing post-per-page count from 10 to 20

Having only 10 per page is annoying , I find most other forums are around 15-25, so I think 20 would be sweet.

• Increasing max PM box size from 50 to at least 200

How annoying is 50? I think everyone agree that's quite minuscule. Even Hard has 200!

Just some thoughts on how to make the forum better.

I'm going to have to agree with both of those points. I think 20 posts per page would be perfect and as a mod I have an unlimited in box so no worries there. But as a regular member I think a 200+ pm box would be nice. XS gives you like 500 I believe, and I've filled that baby about 10 times.

I set my own personal preferences to 40 per page, use the user cp, n00b

Yes please on the PM box, XS gives 500 and thats not enough, I fill that bi-weekly.

Meh, 50 isn't so bad, just need to clear it out now and again, maybe 100? As for the amount of posts you can set it but the default being upped wouldn't hurt.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying the DEFAULT should be raised. I already have my account setup with 20 posts per page as it is.

With the posts per page I think that the forum default is adequate and users can easily change this.

I really don't see why 1,000 would be that bad. PM's take almost no space and very very few amounts of users would be able to even tap that limit. Might as well give it to us I'm sure we've got more than enough space to handle that.

I think at least 500 if not 1000.

lawl kemp, I have 650+ pm's as it is right now and I've done a complete clear-out like 10 times. Give me a year and I could probably use up the 65000+ available inbox slots :worship:

The problem with huge PM boxes is that it becomes impossible to manage and clean out.

We may have more than enough space for huge amounts of PM's, but we gotta back it all up daily, and with a fairly low setting (150 etc), people will take more care not to let things get out fo control.
