Can you kind people point me towards some freeware and applications that you recommend I use on my MacBook?

I've found a few but nothing special.

I'm running VMware Fusion for Windows, have Photoshop trial in, Zattoo, Microsoft Office, IRC client, iFire (xfire alternative) and finally WoW...

Need more plox :)))

You should get smc Fan Control. It allows you too speed up your fans or slow them down when you need quiet. Also if you set it in OSX and then restart and go into Windows via Boot Camp it keeps the fan speed so you can turn them all the way up when your going to game. :)

Your best bet for Windows is Boot Camp. And if you really need to access files from your OSX side you can use MacDrive.

I have fan control in :), thanks for recommendation. Temperature goes from 45idle to 86c load...

I tried using bootcamp assistant but it just messed up my boot option, I couldn't get back into mac... had to hold the mouse button... how can I get it to allow me to boot into both operating systems?

Cheers man.

Eh put win7 on. Don't bother with Vista.

I'm using Vista for programming, need the environment for a few reasons. Could always create another partition for Windows 7, got to go buy a new copy of it first.

If you do any kind of web programming I suggest Coda. It's $99 but worth every single penny. So simple to use and gets rid of the bloated Dreamweaver (coming from a guy that has loved DW for years).
