Software conflict with Aorus

Have the Aorus Gaming 7 (z370 ) and Aorus 1080ti. Use the Aorus Graphic Engine because I can customize my fan speed on the GPU and it does a great job. Then we have the motherboard and RGB Fusion for controlling the LED's on the motherboard.

Now these 2 bits of software both come from Gigabyte yet they dont like each other. When I start the PC I get this error ( the one in the attachment ) and it doesnt start. If I start it after it wont start and get another error message about LED's.

Now I turned of the LED control for motherboard in the Aorus Graphic Engine ( but its not even showing the motherboard exists at the moment )but still no luck. Turned of AGE and RGB Fusion works. I honestly thought Aorus would mean quality all around but it should be re-branded Atrocious instead. Why I went back after having good fortune with Asus I dont know , actually I do, a very good deal $ on the 1080ti and thought having the same brand mobo and GPU would work good together

Anyway, time for the pledge " will never buy a Gigabyte product again"

From ten seconds of digging on Google it seems that you need that DLL for Apacer memory. So it should be -

C:\Program Files (x86)\GIGABYTE\RGBFusion\ApacerramDLL.dll - note, there it is.

Try removing it and reinstalling.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, have even reinstalled windows 10 but RGB Fusion is poison to my system and it even makes my LINK software play up.

anyway, I am lucky that I have 6 Corsair RGB fans and use them to control my color scheme

Hello Mutant,
What is your Apacer memory model and spec?
Is you Apacer memory support RGB feature?
What is your APP Center version and RGB fusion version?
Gigabyte has latest RGB version B17.1024.1.
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z370-AORUS-Gaming-5-rev-10#support-dl
I got Z370 Gaming 5 RGB Fusion ver B17.1024.1 and tested with Gigabyte 1080Ti RGB + Corsair Vengeance RGB + Cooler master System fan master Pro RGB working fine.
I did not get any error massage of DLL>

My memory is Corsair CMD32GX4M4A2666C15 ..no idea what they use and just wonder if the error message related to the memory on the Aorus 1080ti

Have removed all Gigabyte Apps and only use Aorus Graphic Engine for my GPU and that gives me limited control over my motherboards LED's.

I also have Corsair Commander and use the LINK software and it may not like the Gigabyte software.

The thing is I have built PC's for decades and basically only problems I have had have been with Gigabyte products, I still have a motherboard that just would work in its box and that is my "don't buy Gigabyte" warning but after scoring a GPU for a good price I wanted to marry the mobo and GPU.
