Yep Basingstoke is a little mental right now, my wife works for Environment Agency in flood warning. She reckons we'll have about 30 cm

I just tried to go out with the missus to check the staus of the country roads near us, after about 10mins we gave up even trying to get out of the drive way!

Aye, Ive just put fresh water in the birdbath and some food out for them, but the missus deffo isnt going in to work. Still trying to decide if its safe to get to the shed or not! Might have to phone in sick..... Dont think the boss will mind LOL

Always the same up my way. Anything upto a foot around the housing, pretty much ok at the main road - get to work and there's hardly anything.

Be safe people, whilst lynching people with snowballs that is.

Its not too bad here really... (South West London way).... 3 inches maybe... Roads are pretty clear too. Gritters seem to have done a decent job.

I think we're up to 7-8 inches now and it's still snowing. Nobody's on the roads, the main carriageways have a thin lane through them that is slushy ice.
