this is scans one and it costs £92.

just realised its the same board youve got i think.

Is yours doing alright???

I think ive got my pair now.

Oh and another thing, what about cooling and a psu?? I've not long bought a pair of led fans for my case (120mm and an 80mm) I also just bought a bloody amd heatsink (arctic cooling) I imagine that this heatsink will not fit onto an intel cpu.

Also i will need some Ram as my old ram is ddr1.

Any ideas within a reasonable price boundary, (not too cheap but not breaking my banks a55.

Cheers for your advice too.

sorry i forgot to say i have a 400w psu 24 pin.

I dont think its the best but voltage have always been very stable and within more than acceptable boundaries.

If you are still planning on OC'n a C2D you may want to get a better PSU. Overclocking does not actually draw a ton more from the PSU but when you are operating the board and CPU at there max it would not be good to get a spike or such causing a crash.

The usual is the 500 - 600 W region unless you are planning on popping SLI top end cards in there in the near future.

Power 550+ youll be fine, just make sure its a good stable psu, you wont get one for une 70 tbh.

the board ive got is a bit of an overkill ffor the rest of the specs tbh

ps: yeh this board is an amazing overclocker

Ok no probs, ill have to get the psu the month after then, cos my finances are goiong to plummet after this lol, any suggestions on cooling or RAM?

Sorry i made a mistake on the e8600 i ment e8500, the e8600 is £204 from scan.

The one is saw was an e8500 and its £142, i would like to get the e8600 but is the extra £60 worth the difference??

Oh an will the AMD heatsink i bought fit onto the intel cpu chip?? its a pain in the ass the way they dont make them one fits all.
