Small case

That would have been my recommendation :)

You may check out the Antec Super LANboy too, it's a pretty sharp little case.

Oh yeah that's 1337 too... There's a shitload of media center cases you can check out for mATX mobo's.

I've also been checking this out as there are some great matx boards out such as the Biostar 6100.

The XQpack is good because it allows certain full size PSU's.

Another option I have seen is the pricier Silverstone SG01 "Sugo" and also the Antec Aria

May want to wait before you build because supposedly DFI is going to be coming out with a mATX board in January. If you look at DFI Street, Angry Games insists that they have no plans. However, someone from those forums emailed DFI and got 2 positive answers, saying there is going to be one. Also, my friend called them and got an affirmative too. <shrugs> who knows?

I don't, but Ubermouser sure does. I've been helping him mod his Q-Pack this past week. Got his 80.2 radiator in, got all his fans in (was pure hell cutting those holes), gonna mount his pump soon, put reservoir in once it comes in, put his 120.1 rad on the back once it comes in. He also helped me mod my case window (okay, so we had lots of help from his neighbor who has a dremel, so what?) so now it has 2 120mm fans mounted in it (1 over CPU, 1 over gfx). Dropped idle and load temps down by about 3*C! Woot! :D

Status log from day 1 (he hasn't updated it yet, wonder why): http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=995473

He doesn't even love us enough to post about it on :anisx:...

Tell that wanker to post here as he'll get a better response :p

Haha. I had asked him bout it like the second day and he's just like "Probably not, just on Hard Forum" :(

I'll badger him tomorrow

He badgered me to hell, he did. Badgered me about sawing him out some 120mm holes, lapping his heatsink, buying him a soundcard, stole like all my fans (even my beloved panaflos), I think he plans on taking my v1000 too. Good god! ;)

Heres the Hardforum worklog.

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1028772070#post1028772070 Its been updated, too.

Well, he just bought himself a Sound Blaster Audigy 4 for around $90 or so and a pair of Turtle Beach Ear Force HPA 5.1 Headphones for $99.99, heh. Damn Compusa for being out of stock for the Logitech X-230's... I wanted speakers :(

>.> thank you for the progress report of my life, WC Annihilus..

The headphones are sorta upsetting, though. Sound quality in mids and highs is as good as they were on my logitech speakers, and the 5.1 affect is actually quite existent, aside from the obvious shortcomings of 5.1 surround (sound from the rear sounds as if its coming from the front). Vocals sound as if the singers have like peanut butter in their mouths, and the base TICKLES, seeing as that the subwoofer isnt emulated and is actually inside the headphone its self. Everything sounds like its about 3 feet above my head, but I havent checked if any of these problems are because of the soundcard or not.

The amp is enough. Microphone is just godlike; almost as good as a studio mic. Is the improvement between the soundblaster Audigy 4 and the X-fi enough to warrant a return and replacement?
