Slim 280?

Hello guys, any way I just got a magicool slim 280 rad for a screaming deal of 15 bucks new in the box. I was wondering if anybody has had experience with them. Im thinking about mounting it in the top of my pc-k62. Do you think this would supply ample cooling for just my cpu (an overclocked 2500k)?

Well for 15 dollars defiantly but make sure it isn't a scam that seems a little cheap. And as for cooling it should cool it just fine I mean look at the h100 that is extremely thin and cools fairly well and it's only 240mm.

youll wanna prep it before buying all you neato support hardware...

rinsing it out, checking for rust, i'd be nice to pressure test it for leaks.

id hate to see you buy something cheap and spill gobs of money in it

unless that is what you were gunna do anyway..

if you have a radiator shop close by, they can handle that for you.

Thats a bargain to be fair, doubt you will find another 280 rad that cheap. Should be able to cool a 2500k easy but depending on how slim it is you might need some good fans and you might need them turned up high to maintain decent temps.

Well its brand new in the box, still has the plastic caps in it. It has no rust and definitly doesnt leak, im planing on combing it with some bitfenix spectre pros. heres a link to the specs of it. http://www.magicool.biz/images/products/radiators/Radiator 280/MC-RADI280_TI.pdf
