SLI Question - - (?)

Hello all!

I am just about to add the specs to my rig which are in my Signature, and would be thinking of upgrading to 2x 670s (I already own one), or perhaps buying a 7xx (770 or 780) and go single GPU but higher.

My question is... If I am going to add a second GTX 670 card for SLI, does it need to be an EVGA GTX 670 2GB FTW edition? i/e: does it need to be homogenous? or can i go with any GTX 670 which is on sale?

it can be any 670 but the clocks will downgrade to the lowest common speeds, and personally if you can afford it i would go one 780...

sell the 670 and use that money to upgrade to a 780 or SLI 780s if you really want SLI.
