SLi Bridge

I'm taking my first steps into sli world but I need an SLi bridge, the motherboard I'm getting supports sli but doesnt come with a sli bridge according to a unboxing vid I've seen on youtubes and the cards I've got dont come with a bridge either.... this was so much easier with ati but I'm determined to win.

so I'm resorting to ebay as i cant find anything from any of the etailers in the way of sli connectors except for 3 way, and i only need dual card bridge.

What I'm not sure about is if theres been any changes in the sli bridges in the past few generations of graphics cards. Would say a sli bridge from a motherboard released during the Gt 8800 still work with a current 500 series card or do they use a different connectors?

most graphics cards that are SLI capable usually come with SLI bridges in the box that it came in.

if you cannot see the copper SLI connection headers on the top of your cards they are not SLI capable !!!

Yeh I thought all did too but watching an unboxing on linustechtips channel suggests for whatever reason asus dont put one in the box for this board

& yeh by the bridge i did mean the floppy band thing that connects both headers, you got there in your 2nd post though lol

It would be much easier if you would just post the name of the board. But normally sli capable boards come with sli bridges(actually it standard, unless they are second hand)

fair enough, just didnt want peeps to get hung up on which board just wanted an opinion on sli bridges in general.

its the asus p8p67 m pro, waiying for the b3 rev but it looks like they dont include sli or crossfire bridges in the box

Crossfire bridge comes with the amd card, but sli bridge comes with the motherboard and not the card.

I just checked linus unboxing and the sli bridge does come with the board...

Sorry but I dont think any of the micro-atx p8's come with sli bridges
