SLI 670 or 780/TI

Hello everyone, i'm here asking for help deciding what to do...Currently i have 2x670 on sli, one Asus TOP and an EVGA FTW. I love the performance, on the games who actually support SLi, and they're not that hot actually, the asus never gets past the ~67ºC and the FTW stays on ~64ºC on an extensive BF4 session.
Now that the 780Ti is out there, i find myself with a question, that i guess everyone on my situation has. Keep the 670 Sli or upgrade to a single 780/ti. Performance wise i think i'm better off with the Sli. I never had a driver problem or heat issues, that's one of the reasons why i'm quite unsure about what to do. I know both the 780/ti are amazing cards, and i'm not talking about AMD because i actually prefer paying more for Nvidia cards. I've owned both already and i'm more satisfied with Nvidia cards.
Warranty wise the Asus has the normal 3 years and the EVGA has 10 years, the previous owner bought a warranty extension from EVGA.
Sorry for the extense text but i'm trying to point out why i'm unsure about the upgrade. The money question is, keep the Sli or upgrade to an 780/ti?
Thank you for your time.^_^

I'd keep the 670s tbh.

They'll perform better than the 780ti, and it'd be very expensive to 'upgrade' to the 780ti.

What resolution are you playing at?

Hi, thank you for your answer. Currently im playing at 1080p. That's another thing, the ammount i would pay for the 780ti could get me another 670, not that i'm thinking about it, since i have a Z77 and the 3 way Sli would be x8x4x4 if i'm not mistaken.
Thank you for you time.

It's a lot of money. You won't regret purchasing the 780 or the 780TI. However at the same time you don't NEED to purchase a new card. In your situation unless you "really want it" then don't buy it.

If it's going to eat at you, then you'll never be satisfied until you get the card(s) you want. I was in a similar situation as you, deciding to upgrade from a position where I didn't need to. I opted to upgrade bought one 780. Instantly after I was counting down the time until I got a second.

I suggest if you can thatyou wait it out a few more months say in 6 months and then look at the GPU market. GTX 670's are very good cards and will hold their performance for a little while longer IMO.

Just my two cents.

Hi, they are based on the same GPU, the GK-104. The manufacturer doens't really matter. Quote from the nvidia website: "Using 180 or later graphics drivers, NVIDIA graphics cards from different manufacturers can be used together in an SLI configuration. For example, a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer ABC can be matched with a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer XYZ."

Yep - as long as the vRAM and core are the same, you can SLI.

If you're only running at 1920x1080, there's really no point in upgrading. Your two 670s should max out pretty much every game and get 60FPS already, and if not, they'll be very close.

You won't see any better performance from a 780 or 780ti.

Maybe think about upgrading to a higher resolution screen, or multiple screens before thinking about GPU upgrades.

Could go with a pre-flashed 290 to 290x and waterblock for the price of a 780ti and get more performance at a cheaper price. Should always consider both teams and not just one. Helps the market out and keeps things competitive.

Don't upgrade, it's a waste of money. Until you go 1440p or tri-screen, your 670's will be more than enough.

atm you best off with you current 670s, more powerful than any current single core gpu out there.
