sli 460 2gb or 560 ti

Tough one. At a hunch i would say get the 460 and overclock it. Don't really know tbh.

And don't you need two Nvidia cards to run three screens??? In which case 460 2GB SLI might be the better choice.

You will need 2 NVidia cards for triple monitor support. So 460 SLI would be what I would recommend if you want to go NVidia.

If you are just doing basic stuff and don't do massive gaming, I would suggest getting a AMD 6870, they support 4 displays without having to buy 2 cards. That card will be fine for everything but gaming at high settings and massive resolutions.

thanks for the comments i was thinking the gtx 460 2gb for the memory but the 560 seems so more powerful. I was looking to do gaming, phsx and 3d are leading me to nvidia and get the best i can on a budget do u think this would be capable with 3 22inch monitors and will them running vga on have any affect

Don't think it's at all possible to run three monitors off a single card, vga or not. 2 cards are necessary. ATI have there own version of 3d vision (compatible monitors only) and their 69xx series have a good 2gb of memory also. 6950/70 would probably be your best budget buy for single-card, three monitor setup.

did mean in sli not as single just put off by ati at moment dont seem to have the best cards noisey and that driver they had bring quailty down for better fps but if it meant it was better would easliy change my mind it would help with motherboard choice as i would have alot more to chose from instead of two due to amd + sli config also i was lead to belive that would be better off with nvidia for 3d
