I think someone posted this over on the Elder Scrolls forums a little while back, always good to see it again though as it's really very well done![]()

Depends if Bethesda screwed the pc version againGod oblivion was a pain to get working.... same with fallout3![]()
I had a few crashes with Fallout 3 but i put that down to me having the setting up to high. Never played Oblivion (yeah i know). played Fallout 3 twice but i was single at them time and i know this game is gonna be a time vampire, so this is gonna take me yonks to complete, not to mention all the other great games we having coming now
Yeah, these games do suck up some time. Oblivion was great in it's day and still looks good now with the mods out there, so it might be worth some of your time to tide you over until Skyrim. I just put 100 hrs into the Nehrim total conversion mod! Fallout 3 was great but the graphics had started to look quite dated by then, even with settings maxxed out via a config file (higher than in-game settings will allow) - draw distance was terrible despite me having the hardware to ramp it up fully.
I hope with Skyrim being optimised for consoles everyone should get ay least good playability on even a modest PC, those with better hardware should get some real eye candy.

Dont think i'll ever get to play Oblivion just dont have the time i used to. Been playing BFBC2 on PC rerady for BF3. still havent complete deadspace 2 or Crysis 2 (or the other crysises i downloaded last Xmas) downloaded Metro2033 as it was only a fiver, barely touched that, got Gears of War3 (xbox i know) in a few weeks then its Batman AC, Rage, BF3 and Skyrim. Im probably gonna be sorted up untill ME3 lol.
If you haven't already played Oblivion you should it's a good game. It will take you around 90hrs to complete though and with the expansion packs you are looking at around 200hrs and thats without messing around and doing some exploring which trust me you will.
I'm working full time so I won't be able to play on Weekdays. I will have to play on the weekends/other standard holidays. So basically my life will be consumed by work/games, which works for me.
Oblivion will definietly consume many hours of your life![]()
