The hype is overwhelming for me, I'm so excited I could kick a puppy :lol:I'm a huge nerd when it comes to Elder Scrolls, and initially I wasn't going to play this as I figured 650 hours playing the original one would be plenty... And then I watched some Youtube video on the Special Edition and... I was sold! The hype is real![]()
So long as you have all the DLC (Dawnguard, Dragon Born & Hearthfire) you should find another instance of Skyrim in your library, the pre load is in there. So how does one go about preloading it?
edit: apparently there is a delay for some people before it's added to their libraries

Unfortunately, the process of adding the game to people's accounts is going a bit slower than we originally anticipated. If you already own Skyrim and all the DLC but you aren't seeing Special Edition in your Steam Library, don't panic! We should have it added to everyone's accounts within the next 24 hours
It wasn't in my library right away. So I went to the special edition store page and then steam blocked my from buying and said it's already in your account, then it started downloading.try that if you don't have it.
Also, it is not showing up for everyone. Due to server issues and high demand it's going slower than expected, so wait 24hrs and all proper accounts should get it. BTW the original game owners go first(provided you have the DLC). Then Legendary edition buyers.
As long as it's before it comes out you should be happy. Some people might get it game day. Never know, I mean it's free so I wouldn't complain
How does one get this for nicksey poos? I bought the original but it's trying to make me pay £30 - yeah, right.
