Yeah, but it's often been the case. Not so much in recent years when Nvidia's top product is so absurdly expensive and is so much more powerful. But it used to be common to find 1080's only a few quid less than a 1080Ti just because of the cooler and overclocking headroom.

You buy this for the Noctua aesthetic and heatsink. I only wish they would partner with Sapphire, I'd like 2 c this heatsink on a Radeon card. As anyone who's paid attention will know, I'm a fan of neither ASUSpect company nor Ngreedia; but I'm seriously enamoured with the idea of a Noctua themed build, and as daft and hypocritical as it might seem, I'm 95% certain I'll pull the trigger on one of these.
