Skyrim Special Edition is coming to PC and will be 64-bit

Love the fact that people who have the complete game on steam get a free upgrade :)

Tbh it should probably be free to anyone who owns skyrim, it's basically just a performance patch after all. I get that they don't want to do that because the special edition includes the DLC (and who owns the base game without the DLC at this point), but still.

I can't wait. I really hope Arthmoor brings Open Cities to the new version because that 64bit engine will be able to handle it no problem.

Well, A performance and graphics update that looks awesome but yes I agree anyone who has even just the base game should get the upgrade.

Looking forward to seeing all the eye candy :D

Wonder if >60fps will be supported too. Right now, the moment I use 120hz refresh, every household object and outside animal turns into some kind of pinball game.

Yup, I have a laugh every time I forget to adjust my monitor's refresh rate

Curious about what else it might bring for pc gamers, as it already looks quite stunning with the right ENB applied right now.

If you have an nvidia card you can keep the refresh rate as 144hz and set the adaptive vsync to half refresh rate in the geforce control panel.

I'm looking forward to losing many more days of my life to skyrim again. It will be even better if people put work into modding it too

But the point is, we shouldn't really need to mess with the control panel for a specific game.

Nah, True children of Tamriel don't use the control panel we use the command console and more mods than our systems can handle. But on a more serious note 64Bit!!!! I'm so excited!
