Right ive just sold my venice 3000 cbble for 150 quid which was nice...

my bfg 6800gt died on me so im getting it rma'd im trying to see if they will replace it with a pci-e version...

as you may know ive been thinking about selling my prometeia and selling my msi k8n neo2 and moving on to a dfi board for pci-e

Should i build this with the parts i have lying around or just sell everything and pick up a dfi board and another venice...

Amd xp-m 2500+

dfi ultra nforce2 B

prometeia mach 1

bfg 6800gt

asestek 120.2... would be gpu cooling only... bit of overkill...

would this system be just as good as my venice at 2800 for games and stuff??

or should i just try and shift all that stuff and get new bits?

With that GFX card and an XP-M under the promie - I can't see any games giving you a hard time (but then I would say that as that's exactly what I'm building!

) I suppose the real question is will you get enough cash from the bits you have to upgrade, and should you sell now while they still have some value?

For me (even though I've made the other choice) - if you can get your GT exchanged for PCI-e - go 939/venice (3200 for the multi) - it'll be with you forever, especially as you'll be able to slap the dualcores onto it - Pick up a nice DFI (sli-d) and you'll make me v. jealous!

heh well ive got my dfi ultra b board and the xp-m and my g skill all up on ebay so we'll see what happens....

im bored of computer upgrades now, and i think 120.2 watercooling is overkill just on a graphics card... maybe if i went sli and watercooled them both...

i just cant really be ****d with a prometeia anymore :( i like my watercooling and the fact i can CARRY my case :P
