Should i OC my 6800gt?

I wouldnt mind that, if only to have a quiter system. The 6800's the loudest fan in my machine at the moment.

I'll add that to the order when i get my RAM, cable tidys and UV's then..lol. Wont be for 2-4 weeks though

Is it fairly straight forward to change the heatsink? Just an unscrew/apply paste/rescrew job?

I've heard it fairly easy to install but you have to be major careful when putting it on.....just as you would a CPU!

yep that would be the HSF that i was referring to. Apply Ceramique on ur GPU and memory modules before u put the HSF on them ( no AS5 !!! dont want to short the card now do we ) .

Kemps ive noticed that most of the BFG users do not benefit from the volt mod. The highest bump in o/c i have seen is on evga cards followed by the leadtek cards. Some have even said their BFG cards have 1.4V already in the bios !! before the mod.
