Short Fuse?

I know this isn't folding related... but anyway

I'm just wondering anyone here has a short fuse with reguards to people and having their buttons pushed rather than the item used to trigger and explostion or prevent too much power draw (some would say bad temper or anger managment problems - but I'm more thinking about how easily you get set off rather than how far you go when set off)

I'm not going to use this thread to relay what a good/awful (delete as necessary) time I'm having... maybe another time :s

But today gave me another opportunity to display my rather short fuse. Don't get me wrong I don't go off at everyone all the time. If people are nice/polite to me I'm nice/polite in return, but if someone gives me 'attitude' I give it right back, right away, normally cranking the dial a notch higher than they did.

I'd like to think I'm a nice enough person. I can't do much to help the world at the moment, but I think of F@H as giving something back at the moment, I don't go out of my way to cause aggravation.......but I have a really short fuse

Anyone here the same? or are you more of a 'water off the ducks back' type of person?

My fuse is massive I'd like to think or I'm a more "water off the ducks back" type of person. I very rarely lose my cool and just try to stay positive no matter what

Compared to you I suck at life then

The past couple of weeks have been pretty stressful, so I have that as an excuse (for today)... but really even without the stress I don't think my reaction would have been much less than it was.

To me, it seems pretty reasonable to tell some snotty biatch of a neighbour (of my perants) who is sticking her nose into something that has nothing to do with her, and has a horrible attitude towards you/me (and your/my Mum) to STFU..........

For me it just depends on the environment, if I am at home: VERY short fuse. Anywhere else I keep my cool for a pretty long time.

I have patients for 'events' but people who want to direct their horrible attitude towards me... not so much.

For instance, waiting in line to pay at the supermarket. If something goes wrong and everything is held up. I don't mind, I know s**t happens, it is what it is. And I almost can't believe the amount of people that stand there and moan about it in that 'I'm saying it to the person I'm with but clearly loud enough so the cashier can hear' way.

I rarely lose my temper, but if someone does something to a family member or close friend then it is a whole different story mate and I think you did right by your parents and by you
