Sharp showcases a IGZO 27 inch 8K 120Hz HDR display

Curious as to which connectors it is using. Still.. If it were avaliable for purchase in a 40", it would be an instant buy unless it costed something like 4x4k monitors.

This has to be a concept monitor?

So we will see tech used in this panel next month, year, decade LoL?

And what is the technology will we be seeing in consumer products? I'm genuinely interested.

It's a prototype, as pointed out in the article. It will be years before we get them in any kind of consumer ready quantity. 4k isn't even mainstream, introducing another standard is counter intuitive to adoption rates of higher quality TVs. Not to mention prices on these would be laughable!

Give me 4K 144Hz OLED G-Sync/Freesync curved 32" and then we'll talk, That's all I want ^_^

I'm with you there Dice I'm hoping new panels like this will be out by Q1 2017. Obviously the gsync/freesync in one panel is just dreaming NVidia would never allow it
