Hi guys,

Sorry for taking so long, but finally got a few pics of my setup.

Changed it quite a bit, firstly I changed to using 3/8 tygon tubing and connectors.

Now have CM Stacker w/Alphacool 3x120 rad, XSPC CPU block (from the original kit), Alphacool NX-i northbridge block, EK X1900 block.

Overview of the system:

CPU and NB blocks:

Drives bays, res and pump:

The lovely EK block - looks lovely with a little UV dye running thru it:

Would appreciate any feedback - not sure what to do next, possibly a different motherboard and get a crossfire EK block and try that.

Thanks Kempez !!!

Total respect to OC3D for help on this. Am a very experienced PC/Sun engineer type, but never ventured into watercooling. The XSPC kit review made me decide to try it (lovely kit for price and great review). Then joined the forums and members were very helpful in every post I made.

Really pleased with the final result. I had to make both tubes to the 5.25 res a little longer, so the bay could slide out enough to get to the fill-cap. Other than that I think it's worked out quite neat.

Oh yeah, also top marks to Specialtech, especially Steve - they were awesome in supplying bits like my case, and after having 2 RMA Asus P5W DH Deluxe boards, Steve was really helpful offering instant refund etc (didnt take it, ordered some more drives and all the tarty bits to make the cabling as neat as poss). Specialtech have definately won a regular customer in me :worship:

Glad the forum has helped mate. Stick around and contribute to the community :)

Tis very neat and looks great. Now some overclocking???? ;)

Pros to ST for another happy customer :)

Great looking rig mate. Glad to hear that you found the review useful, and that SpecialTech were their usual helpful selves :D

Very neat PapaLaz, and you've got some nice gear in it to boot! Well done :)

That's what it's all about, right there :worship: Well done ST, for being the consummate professionals. Keep the customer happy/informed when they're in a crisis, and more often than not they'll return. I think great service and support holds more water than simply a great price. Awewsome effort :worship:

Dang those tubings are getting sexier and sexier to the eye..

Installed another pc today - yeah fans.. but u know, I got a project idea floating around concerning a 3 pc/1 amiga setup-unit, being built from scratch etc.. and I`m leaning more and more into leaving space in it for a fully fledged cooling platform.

U guyz are gonna turn me u know >.<

Thanks for all the feedback people. Will definately be sticking around the forums, begging for help and also offering any advice where I can.

As for clocking it - the E6600 in there can do 3.5 24/7 stable, but anything over 3ghz and the cpu really wants lots of juice. Running @ 3ghz on all stock volts atm. Will probably push it up thru the winter months.

Haven't clocked the X1900 yet, but the water temps on it are incredible - idles @ 35-39c, load @ 43-45c - definately the most impressive part of the water setup. The northbridges are beasts on the 965/975 boards, hence wanting to get the nb block, and the temp never budges now no matter what volts/fsb i pump thru it.

I'm waiting for an X1900XTX that I rma'd to be returned to me, and when it does I might change the motherboard, grab an Xfire EK block, and try them both running - we'll see.

@ST, like I said, awesome. Always happy to talk through stuff on the phone, prompt with the ticket system, delivery, everything... When they sent me a replacement board and it didn't work, Steve got a courier to collect from me the same day, and as they had no more in stock he offered to refund me before they even got the board back - would be hard to find that service anywhere else (and I've used most component retailers a lot).

Final mention to over-clock.com - found them when browsing for some other water-bits, and paid them a visit as they're near where I live. Top people and were very helpful with a load of newbie water questions.

Got a load of kit-remnants left from the XSPC kit I bought, so maybe a project to go in my Linux server :D

in a word:

"AWESOME"

Looking very neat and tidy! Did you polish up the copper on ya EK block...looks nice n shiny! Oh...what UV dye have you got in them tubes bud...looks nice! (or is it PC Ice?

Nice one!

Cheers Mullet !!

Didn't polish the EK block, it actually arrived like that. Can't describe how geekishly lovely it really is :)

The dye is actually the stuff I got with the XSPC kit, looks really good under a cc tube... as for what it is, maybe give xspc a buzz, am sure they could sort you out with some. Mixture of dark blue uv and zerex.

Very clean mate, I love it. Good work, keep it up!

What kind of OC and benchy scores u pullin' what that setup anywho?
