I was wondering if anyone has used the ICY BOX RAID Enclosure USB 3.0 (ib-rd4320stu3) and if you have used it in RAID 0?
Reason I ask is that for my new build (just waiting on the RIVE-BE) I am using the Cosmos 2 case and have taken out all the hard drive bays to fit in RADs and to look cleaner/nicer. Problem with that is it leaves me with only 2 HDD bays and i am trying to fit in 4 HDD and an SSD (i can hide it i know). I was thinking of going with my general storage (music, docs and pics etc) and a Backup drive in the 2 spaces in the case and getting the ICYBOX and having my 2 1TB Blues in raid 0 for my games.
I would also like to know if in raid 0 it can be used on any computer (say if i want to take my games library to my friends place or when i go away to use on my gaming laptop) that i can just simply plug and play when i need to without needing to set anything up again or loosing games data?
Thank you
EDIT: also would it be possible to plug my laptop or another PC into it while it's still connected to my main PC?
