Hi guys; I haven't been around for a while, job / house responsibility's sucked all my free time / money away and have only just got my computer bits out of storage. I hope you are all well and still making things go fast with aplomb! .. Bad news is my beast really cant fit in my new room and it deafens me if there is no music / gaming going on. Ive thought about it for a week or so and I'm thinking of going down the SFF route; specifically the shuttle SN95G. Ive got to have some clocking options (the lack of them just seemed upsetting as I was lifting the prommie into the attic) so have decided to get an fx 55 and some nice sticks to play with. Ive been looking at ebay for the chip prices and it seems the ones going cheapest are the oldest cores, but not by much of a margin. Which core was prevalent when they initialy came out, and if I'm going for a heavy memory clock will the newer chip revisions and samller manufactureing process make any difference?
