SB Intel i5 voltage

I have read that the Sandy Bridge Intel i5 usually have a stock voltage ranging 1.1-1.2v usually is this correct?

I'm going to get a i5 2310, If I wanted to put Turbo boost to +400mhz, would 1.20v be enough still?

I'm not sure it works like that tbh, i thought you could only change the multiplier and voltage on the "k" versions i.e. 2500k but maybe i'm wrong

If you are going to use the Turbo boost, it's all done automatically in the software and there is no point in changing anything in the BIOS.

EDIT: By the way, you should have posted this in the Overclocking sub.
