Well clearly they did considering they changed it for the 480 which, in my opinion, ended up looking stunningly good.

I also think these look quite nice, even though I've never been a fan of blower-style coolers myself.

They didn't change it fella. The black card they released is the 480 Nitro. The silver one, apparently, will be the 480 Toxic.

It was supposedly a legitimate leak. Sapphire Ed stated that the silver cooler was never anything more than a mock build for the Nitro card.

Because from what I heard it was to be the Nitro Toxic edition.

Wonder two things for the 470. If the reference cooler will be able to sustain it's boost clock 100% of the time since it's more efficient and if it'll be able to overclock more without any power issues since again it's running at lower tdp

Just to update that. It seems that Sapphire have renamed the Toxic card Nitro+ OC. Apparently they have fully binned cores that should oc properly.
