"AMD will soon be bringing DDR3 support to the yet-to-be-launched AM3-based Phenom II processors, and seeing as other AMD partners have already announced their boards, Sapphire's getting in on the act too."

Looks like a solid AM2++ ddr2 mobo.

Have no experience of Sapphire mobos tbh. Looks like it's setup as a really good htpc mobo.

Here's the full specification from Sapphire's website for anyone interested.

Seems like a reasonable enough board if the price is right. I don't see any mention of warranty but it's probably 2 years like their graphics cards.

It's kinda ugly, certainly comparing to other boards out there :D

But sounds promising, I would consider the FX myself, no need for GX.

Looking forward to seeing all these AM3 boards, means AM2+ comes down and I can hopefully get a good AMD 940 and a 790FX cheapo, DDR3 is still a bit too costly

Edit: I thought it was a DDR3 board, surely AM3 is DDR3?

My understanding is that AM2+ & AM3 mobos are DDR2. Whereas AM3 only mobos can be DDR3 or DDR2.

Word on the street is AM2+ will have DDR3 issues.
