In terms of performance, a x850 xt pe could beat 2 6800 gts, but only cause sli is crappy. It's just like when that insanely oced x800 xt pe drove over 2 6800u in 3dmark05. I still don't get who would ever pay $1000 for video setup. It's more fun to take a single card and pump voltage and clocking steriods into it.

It was from hardocp a while ago. you can search for it if you want cause I couldn't find it. Basically, nvidia got a 7229 with 2 6800u in sli, and some guy with a x800 xt pe oced past 700 core and around 700 mem got a 7777. The sli is more efficient now, but it's still very lacking. I hate those fuckin idiots that think nvidia owns ati because 2 video cards can beat 1. wow, that's so impressive. It'll be cool to see how ati does with sli since they got their own awesome chipset now.
It would be cool to see someone make a modded board that could hold 4 video cards in sli. No one could touch that for a year.
