SanDisk Unveils the World's Highest Capacity microSD Card

SanDisk Corporation, a global leader in flash storage solutions, today introduced the 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, Premium Edition, the world's highest capacity microSD card for use in mobile devices. In just one year after introducing its record-breaking 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC card.

Glad to see it's class 10 product, although by now, I would of thought they would of had a higher class for it (for those who don't know, the number inside the letter C denotes the class, or transfer speed of the card, with 10 presently being the highest transfer rate available).

I am astounded how much they can cram into such a small package, and think with how much is packed into that card, they must by now be reaching the limits of what they can cram into such a small form factor in the card. Next step we might well be seing a return to normal size SD cards to be able to keep up with the storage needs of modern devices.
