New member. Problems with Samsung 2493

Have just bought a Samsung 2493. Having problems with OSD panels being generated on switch on that can only be removed by turning off at the rear switch.

Problems:

1. With Magic Bright scrolling the display through all the options, custom, text etc.

2. Volume contol ramping up to 100% on its own

3. Unit turnnig itself off and can only be re-stsrted by by removing the power.

Are these known problems or a design problem with the 2493's?
