What is best for gaming on Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD7850 2gb a 23" monitor Samsung or 42" Samsung tv ?

For a monitor that is on your desk, a computer monitor is better because of the higher pixel desity. If you sit a bit further away the tv is obviously better just because it's bigger, really depends on where you want to use it. And of course the tv is about 3 times more expensive

Don't get a TV for use on a PC unless it's an HTPC.

Also remember that the size of the monitor has no effect whatsoever as to the framerates you'll be getting. All about the resolution.
