Samsung 840 Pro 256GB £54

I just bought one on the credit card so i'm covered against any fraud, here's hopping the honour it :D

Don't know if you can make a valid judgement from a few bad reviews. There are always bad cases from any retailer, there are only 12 reviews on that site and they stretch over three years.

Not saying there isn't any truth to them but I wouldn't go as far to say they were a no go because of them.

well 3 guys on bit tech been "scammed" from them in the past, in the fact that insight asked them to pay the difference for the "full" price of the item or the order would be cancelled, i suppose we shall see
 
I'll just cancel if they ask me to pay the full amount, just have to keep my fingers crossed :)

I never have good luck so they will probably just cancel the order anyway :(
 
I ordered 2 on a credit card. If they don't honour it, or they fuck me about I'll just send the Barclaycard dogs after them.

Tbh 12 *bad* reviews over x years isn't all that bad... that's only one review site, and lets be honest, people only LOOK for review sites when something goes wrong don't they?

Same here bought 2 on the credit card we will see what happens, did anyone get the next day del? i got 2-3 days so i want to see if people actually get theirs before me they will probably just be knobs and not honor it, they should think about it this way no one here heard of them before now we have so potential repeat business if they give us them =P
 
I chose the 2-3 day delivery to save money, if we receive an email saying order shipped, then it's on the way. If you get one saying order canceled, then they caught on and we wont be getting a cheap SSD.

I'm going to sell mine anyway, they are £180 brand new, so i'll sell it for £160 and make myself £100, if it works that is :D

I wish I lived in the UK just so I could nab up a couple of these at a really good price. But it probably is a type error and they probably won't honer it.
Good luck to those that have ordered though.

yeah, the US language drop down switches pricing to "normal" $250 for the 256PRO.

I tried to buy 4 of them, but they wanted my UK address and
well.. uhhh.. I gotz nunz of dozs

Still no emails today, perhaps the problem has dawned on them...

Also that link is now dead.. Where did that come from btw, because that was from some kind of affiliate scheme.. Did someone just skim a load of cash off us?

I think so because when i ordered it yesterday the order tab in the account section showed it but it isnt showing it atm...
