Damn this hits hard. I had somewhat high hopes for another proper SR3 remake.

still I think the IP is owned by deep silver maybe i'm mistaken just cause a studio closes doesn't mean the end of the series but in the short term without doubt.

I thought Deep silver went bust and IPs were released/sold

The news comes over four years after Koch, which owns Saints Row publisher Deep Silver, was acquired by Embracer Group (then THQ Nordic) for around $150 million. Koch Media co-founder and CEO, Klemens Kundratitz, said the decision to rebrand was made to reflect the "evolving nature" of the business post-acquisition.

Seems it's done the rounds since i don't pay as heavy attention as that, but someone owns it lol

I mean its not surprising, they didn't listen to their customer base and in fact mocked them.

The volition i loved died a long time ago, the last decent thing i thought they released was summoner 2 (which was nowhere near as good as the first one)

I suppose thats what you get when your DEI score means more than your sales figures. Sure you can raise a lot more credit with the Investment banks, but what happens when you aren't getting the income to pay back what you borrowed because you're trying to force something down your customers throat they dont want, this.
