Safe o/c voltages

Hi guys, you seem to be the masters of the art of the overclock, so id thought id ask you a little question.

i have a p4 550, and the max i could get it to with the 17x multi, is 3800mhz (around), i lowered the multi to 14x and got 4032 mhz, though not stable, on crud air hsf, and 1.5175 v.

i am getting water soon, and wondered what is the safe max i can push the vcore, ddr2, fsb, and other voltages up to, as i am not sure what to do.

cheers guys

1.6 tops with water ideally, you can push it slightly higher for benchmarking, but for general useage keep it at 1.6 or less.

Phase-change can go off the scale :) I've seen benchmarks @ 1.9v cpu vcore.

wow, nice. that could be why the 288mhz fsb isnt stable, ill try more volts when i get the kit through, cheers phil. 1.9v, blimey

I agree with all that is said here - phase/water allows you to use more as phil stated - but on air stick with what is advised.

Cheers
