Sad on mini pcie

So I have spent days researching and can't get an answer so I'm asking for help now. The title says it. 2 questions, can I and should I?
I have this board http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4405#sp and it has a mini pcie / no msata. I think my old agility 3 is starting to get tired now, so I'm looking around at new drives and noticed this slot on the board.
Now I can't get a definitive answer anywhere whether it'll work but even if I does is it going to be a pointless exercise?

Looking at the pic of the board it doesn't look like an MSATA drive would fit. It seems to have been made to take a wireless network card.

I would also hazard a guess that "No Msata" is Engrish for not supporting MSATA cards.

I would just get a replacement SATA SSD.

First off, Mini PCIe is different to Msata. Although similar in appearance, they are not electrically compatible.

Mini PCIe is the same as what you see in laptops for add in cards such as WiFi adaptors etc.

There are a few Mini PCIe SSD's that exist, mostly small capacity used in small form factor notebooks such as the ASUS eee series.

So long answer short, get a SATA SSD and dont worry about the Mini PCIe slot.
