Ryse: Son of Rome coming to PC!

It's highly repetitive from what I've seen. It lost its appeal very quickly for me, just from watching other people play.

Yeah, its kind of like they made it just to show of the new "next gen" graphics. Gameplay looks to be lacking to much. If the game was cheap I'd probably try it but £30+ I don't think I'm willing to pay it. £20 and I'd consider. Will look lovely in 4K.

Might be good for benchmarking purposes. I'll probably pick it up in a Steam/similar sale.

Crytek need their engine to sell better, if porting this game over can convince a few more devs to use it good for them.

I will likely by this on sale or if it launched very cheap.

Pretty much get in a fight then press the button on screen to kill, next guy, same thing, over and over again. no skill involved tbh. It coiuld have been epic though.

Wonder if people try modding it to make it so no pop up buttons appear? Just make it so more skill is involved.

To sum it up: Glorified QTE's.

"Most people would know theres a huge difference between playing at 30 and 60 frames"
An hero is crytek.

Not going to be a great game although I appreciate having a game that'll demand alot from my rig. interactive benchmark and whatnot.

It looks like it will be the next Crysis in terms of demanding, something new to melt your GPUs on :p

Shame the game itself is pretty crap.

System requirements released, looks like some cards are going to have probs with higher resolutions with 4gb of Vram recommended.

An actual game developer on the Steam forums in the Ryse thread also just confirmed 4GB of VRAM is for 4K so anyone running it under 4K should be fine with 3GB.
