Fud say twice as fast, everywhere else says 50% faster. Go figure.

ati's next gen looks better than nvidias thus far.

Once RL perf is revealed I'll decide if I'm going green again or sticking with red!

I completely agree, I think ATI has the better dual gpu concept then nVidia, at least with ATI you could have a 1 slot solution when you water cool.

Anyhow this is great news, I am certainly looking forward to it and keeping my fingers crossed.

Nvidia hasent put out anything "new" becasue they have no competition. If this is really the "real" deal from ATI then expect Nvidia to just be like *Oh here we go* and pwn it.

Just a little Insight, the 8800ultra still wipes the HD3870X2 and its how old now? Thats the only reason Nvidia hasent put out anything to waht we would consider "new".

GTX and ultra have been high-end cards for way too long, and for amd not to catch up is a loss in market share. although will have to wait and see whats the rv770 looking like, dont want to be one of those "dont buy nvidia's gtx or gts and wait for R600, it's gonna be badass" guys.

Well in driver supported games 3870x2 usually comes out on top, but the new GX2 is basically kicking the crap out of everything atm. Few driver revisions for the AA issues and it should be top dog.

Was hoping to pick one up for bday but for £400 can kiss that goodbye.
